In front of the whole world, Hillary spoke out for every woman who suffered from inequality, injustice, and repression. Every person in the hall knew she was making history. Her act of courage still reverberates through women's lives.

I'm sorry, but does any woman here feel this "reverberation" of which Albright rapsodizes?
Of course not! That paragraph has to be the biggest avalanche of bulls**t ever written. The fact that a former Secretary of State wrote it in all seriousness is staggering.

Have you seen the look in the eyes of young women at Hillary's campaign rallies? Can you sense the thrill that comes with knowing their first vote in a presidential election could elect America's first woman president?

It's like she's channeling Oprah in this second excerpt. It's all about being "inspired". Something about the "look in the eyes" comment frightens me: these "inspired" women sound like what the hordes of Hitler supporters must have looked like when the Fuhrer spoke at those massive, May Day parade-style rallies. It speaks of being entranced with a Cult of Personality, and not discernment.

Madeleine Not-Too-Bright gives me many reasons to find Hillary wanting, but this one stands out: Hillary still believes that a**hats like Madeleine are the people to run with in the post-9/11 age. For that transgression of common sense alone she has disqualified herself as a legitimate Presidential candidate.

She's a "September 10th Politician" ignorant of the realities of a September 11th world.

I'll also never forget Bill Clinton pardoning terrorists to help Hillary get elected to her Senate seat.

Wonder if she'll ever forget the look in the eyes of Vince Foster as she was about to help him, w/o any effort of his own, commit suicide?

Wonder if she has nightmares about the women that Slick Willy raped, Juanita Broddrick for one.

True enough she did make "history." But not what was intended or implied.

The reality is she blamed any and everything but a two-timing husband for hos marital indiscretions.

And at the same time sold out the "I am women, I an strong" movement by standing by her man instead of being an example of a truly strong woman and tossing Slick Willie in the nearest shitcan and getting on with life.

All with a jaundiced eye towards holding an office, any office, in the future.

With all Hillary's done for womyn - "inspiring" them, and . . . well, whatever else - it is confounding that Amanda Marcotte would have signed on with John Edwards' campaign instead.

It's gotta be the pantsuits. They scream, "Seventies retro-chic!"

To better appeal to today's dumb young slut-on-the-go, she needs to update her wardrobe with low-rise jeans, bare midriff, belly-button piercing, and perhaps a strategically placed tattoo or two.

Oh, and also she needs to drop Albright like she's hot (even though she's not). She looks too much like Ross Perot's crazy Aunt, and needs to stay in the attic.

I can't recall so many candidates exploding so early. Hillbillary, Edwards, Biden are history.

Nah, there's plenty of time for the voters to forget the negatives. I think the average voter only has about a six-month attention span, that's why they keep electing the same people who make the same promises over and over again, despite the fact that none of the promises ever get kept!

There's no reason to bring Bill into anything really. Hillary has enough skeletons of her own.

Her disasterous healthcare plan
Her memory lapses on where she put those files
Her foul mouth
Her outward disdain for anyone in military uniform
Her antagonist, sanctimonious commentary
Her pictures with the likes of Jose Cabrera
Her involvement in Whitewater
She and Bill's looting of the White House upon departure
Etc.

The fact that Hillary had a clear hand in much of Bill's presidency is merely a side-note.
