Obama: It’s All Bush’s Fault

I feel like vomiting after the garbage that was shoved down my throat tonight.

To sum up:

Why did Obama deepen our debt? Bush.
Why did we lose the jobs that Obama said we wouldn’t? Bush.
Did Bush have any problems while in office? No, he made them (I guess for Obama to deal with)

And of course, tax cuts won’t work, spending less won’t work. We MUST tax, we must spend, and somehow the average American will have more money in their wallet.

Oh, and the government can save everybody and everything.

    Instead of trickle down, can you say trickle up. Otherwise we wouldn’t have this mess, according to your beliefs that it trickled down and that actually worked.

    And how did you figure out how this country was going to pay back all the money that Bush borrowed to pay for the wars? Now that the price of the wars are in the budget, instead of not being counted, just how much did Obama raise the debt?

    Where was your voice when the GOP continued to borrow and spend? WHAT’S THAT, I DIDN’T HEAR YOUR VOICE BACK THEN. Senator Hatch made the statement that they (GOP) didn’t care about the defeict when they were borrowing. And damn sure they didn’t care how it was going to be paid back.

    Wake up, the taxpayers are being played by both parties, and neither party cares about the taxpayers. They are all crooks.

Not that the MSM ever reported it. Have you also ‘forgotten’ that a DEMOCRATIC congress has been handling the purse strings since 2007? How about that BLOATED Stimulus that didn’t? 9000 ‘earmarks’. $116 MILLION alone for Nancy’s Marsh Mouse. Murtha got his ‘international’ airport runway repaved. Only serves two light aircraft a day. Did unemployment stay below 8% Now the Obamassiah wants to bring Crap and Trade back up. Yeah, let’s pay $6 gallon for fuel. That’s sure to help the economy. You talk about the money Bush borrowed. What about all the freaking money Barry’s borrowing? Or is that some more of that Democratic “NUANCE”?
    Tax cuts WORKED three times before: Reagan, Clinton and Bush. Now if only the shitheads in Washington would cut THEIR SPENDING.

    Lets talk truth jc rather than spewing garbage, truth such as you’re arguing on one side of the equation.

    The tax cuts during bush’s term were mitigated by uncontrolled spending by both parties in congress and continue, at a FAR FASTER rate since obama was elected.

    Tax cuts don’t mean shit unless spending is cut.

    BTW “cut” doesn’t mean a “freeze” on them. His so called “freeze” takes hold after gov spending went up on average by 25 percent in 2009 and you can BET it will continue to go up this year.

    Freeze my ass, its a shell game.

    P.S. while on the topic of talking points I see you embraces obamas claim of not raising tax on Americans.

    It is very easy to blame Bush because the Republicans have never developed a good strategy to deal with the incompetence, stupidity, and failures of the Bush Administration. That anyone who ever served in the Bush Administration is still involved in Republican politics is enough to show that the Republicans have still not learn the proper lessons.

    It is hard to criticize the Obama Administration when the alternative is putting the incompetents from the Bush Administration back in power.

    If the Democrats retain their majority after the midterms I think all we need to do is sit back and see what they will do with the Bush tax cuts set to expire next year. I believe there was an article in the WSJ yesterday describing how some of the more moderate Democrats are getting nervous about what it will mean to the economy when these cuts do indeed expire next year. People will perceive it as a tax hike no matter how you cut it. The tax cuts themselves have not hurt the economy. The exuberant use of credit is more to blame. Something our own government should begin to recognize with its drunken spending on credit.

    Please, this is not something new to us, but since you bring it up, what is your solution? Have you become a member of the Tea Party because this is their well taken point? For me, after the performance of the past 12 months I’ll still take the lesser of the two evils. The Republicans are at least more business friendly and at the present there is a greater chance they will put more money in my pocket; sorry if I sound selfish. This “it’s both parties” meme may have validity but it is the rationale trotted out by the Libs when they realize their corrupt Democrats ain’t looking too attractive. Barry is incompetent but he wants to spread the blame (to Bush). The Democrats have a supermajority yet remain incompetent so let’s blame both parties.

    Tax cuts are not what led to the current mess, liberals. The irresponsibility of Congress (esp Dems) in relaxing lending standards was a far greater cause.

    More to the point, this mess was caused by a failure of financial engineering. Too few people understood all of the new financial products, including secruitized mortgages, that had hit the market. When companies’ risk management proved to be (putting it caharitably) less than stellar, many firms — and many homeowners — found themselves in deep dirt because they were living on credit with nothing to back it up.

    This led to the problems of massive failures, toxic assets, a huge spoike in foreclosures, etc. etc.

    But tax cuts really had nothing to do with it.

    Who in the hell do you think is running the current administration? Seems to me that most of the people that are in the top positions are Clintoon retreads. These are the same folks that covered up for Der Slickmeister during Monicagate and other Clintoon peccadilloes. Why should things be any different now?     Further, please define a “saved” job and tell us how it is calculated.
