"Excessively partisan, dramatically inaccurate, and hopelessly inadequate"

Paul Ryan describing Obama’s deficit reduction speech:

“When the President reached out to ask us to attend his speech, we were expecting an olive branch. Instead, his speech was excessively partisan, dramatically inaccurate, and hopelessly inadequate to address our fiscal crisis. What we heard today was not fiscal leadership from our commander-in-chief; we heard a political broadside from our campaigner-in-chief.

“Last year, in the absence of a serious budget, the President created a Fiscal Commission. He then ignored its recommendations and omitted any of its major proposals from his budget, and now he wants to delegate leadership to yet another commission to solve a problem he refuses to confront.

“We need leadership, not a doubling down on the politics of the past.  By failing to seriously confront the most predictable economic crisis in our history, this President’s policies are committing our children to a diminished future. We are looking for bipartisan solutions, not partisan rhetoric. When the President is ready to get serious about confronting this challenge, we’ll be here.”

There’s more, including a must read list fact checking key points of the speech proving that Obama has absolutely no desire to do a damned thing about deficit spending.

His trek to make a mess of this country marches on.

2012 and Obama

I’m with Ryan, turn Medicare over to the insurance companies. Those geezers have been riding free for too long.

  • DaveD

Wow, you kind of misled me. I saw the headline to your post and I thoight I was going to read a biographical sketch of Woop.

  • http://www.planettron.com NickDeringer

Thank God for Paul Ryan. he gets it and is not afraid to say it. I hope he can get his budget plan acted on.

Kudos to Michelle Bachmann for committing to it as well. She’s doing the job conservative men refuse to do.

“Excessively partisan, dramatically inaccurate, and hopelessly inadequate”

    Well you could be describing
    Obama
    The democratic party
Anyone of the leaders of the dem party
    Woop
    Lee Ward
    Hyper
    Gnossos

(I will be nice and leave Tina S and Bruce Henry out of this, I have slightly more respect for them than to call them this).

  • epador

Listening to NPR last night, I heard those wonderfully impartial “reporters” forecast with unrestrained glee how they expected all the Republicans to come back to their districts at break and receive the same aggressive attacks the Dems did from the Tea Party after Cap and Trade for approaching Medicaid and Medicare..

    Ha Ha Ha

They will receive some hostile remarks, but more likely for not going far enough.

    Lets see.

  • Woop

Paul Ryan is out to destroy America and Americans. His death panels are real. His medicare cuts – draconian.

  • GarandFan

Judging from Comment #5 – the Obamassiah/DNC echo chamber is in working order this morning.

Perhaps woop will even give us the DETAILS of his Obamassiah’s plan.

  • Hank

Obama’s speech might have been “excessively partisan, dramatically inaccurate, and hopelessly inadequate” but it had it’s bad points also.

Personally, I cannot believe he’s still blaming Bush albeit indirectly.

His use of “spending reductions in the tax code.” was absurd. These people absolutely refuse to speak plain english. Understandably but still reprehensible.

This presidency is really starting to become embarrassing.

  • retired military

Woop do you ever say anything that makes even the slightest bit of sense? Yo are a like a gnat on a dog’s ass.

  • GarandFan

“This presidency is really starting to become embarrassing.”

    Starting?

This is the same imbecile that proposed a 2012 budget 2 months ago, with a built-in $1.3 TRILLION deficit.

Now, suddenly, he’s President Budget Cutter?

Truth of the matter is that the Bumbler in Chief has been asking for a Republican plan to address the deficit. Ryan gave him one. Now Barry’s shitting his pants and speaking in generalities because he’s got nothing but stale platitudes.

The same two-face ass who wanted ‘civil discourse’ spent 1/2 his speech demonizing conservatives as wanting to kill old people.

2012 cannot come soon enough. If a syphilitic whore was running against Barry, I’d vote for the whore. At least she’s honest about what she does for a living.

    In another thread Hyper stated

“”a person is an entity that has the capacity for rationally engaging with their environment and with other minds”

Woop according to Hyper neither you nor he are persons.

“His use of “spending reductions in the tax code.” was absurd. These people absolutely refuse to speak plain english.

You never want the mark to understand what’s going on. Baffle them with bullshit, and it’s easier to convince them to let you loot their bank accounts.

  • GarandFan

From the editorial of the WSJ this morning:

“The speech he chose to deliver was dishonest even by modern political standards.”

  • jim m

What is ironic is that obama and his mindless followers are claiming that Ryan’s plan will do exactly what obamacare is already going to do. Obamacare will bankrupt the nation within just a few years if obama’s budget doesn’t do it first. Then what is the government going to do? They are going to “save on healthcare” by spending less for it, which means rationing service and deciding who gets treated and who dies.

The left just maintains the fantasy that because they believe the right thing politically their health care won’t get cut. They steadfastly ignore the truth of the failures of socialized medicine everywhere else in the world.

  • Woop

Ryan’s plan will mean death for seniors.

  • John

Woop is deep and thoughtful today. Obama means death to America, see I’m deep and thoughtful too. Obama’s planning to bankrupt the nation, he only cares about funding abortion and NPR, he hates white people and anyone that makes more than minimum wage. Gee this is fun no wonder woop engages in this sort of dialog all the time.

  • Woop

John’s head is deep up his ass again today.

Hands off my Granma, Paul Ryan!

Chico got spanked, liked it, and farted out a Woop..

Woop should know as all he spouts is shit.

    Woop,

We do not have money because instead of Spending on the Military and the enumerated powers of our government we spend on everything else.
This country survived without an Income tax for most of it history.
We survived without SS, Medicaid,Medicare,DOE, ED, NPA and others.

If we do not address the issues then the country will be broke and we will become the Weimar Republic. Our Money will be worthless and those seniors will pray for cat food.

The world know this why do you think countries are now look for another reserve currency.

Food cost are going up because the value of the dollars is falling and we are burning food in our cars.

It no longer a joke and stupid statements are not going to fix the problem. If you really care about people we will deal with the problems.

Rising Fuel prices hit who the hardest ? Rising Food prices hits who the hardest? Unemployment hits who the Hardest?

The top 1% of income earners pay 37% of taxes.
The top 10% of income earners pay 68% of taxes.
While 47% of American do not pay any Federal taxes.

  • GarandFan

You can’t reason with an echo chamber that is devoid of coherent thought.

  • retired military

in 2010 personal income tax brought in $1.4 TRillion into the treasury.

If they doubled the amount each person paid in Income tax they still couldnt make up for the deficit for this year.

It is blatantly obvious we dont have a problem with low taxes. We have a problem with too much spending.

  • WildWillie

The problem with Obama is he doesn’t even know what he is talking about. He only reads what is written for him. This guy is a major putz. Totally worthless and doing much damage. I know we will have the senate and house in 2012 and maybe the presidency. But either way, his “reign” will end. I have never seen such blatant stupidity demonstrated by a democrat like Obamalama. ww

  • Morrissimo

Ryan’s just the latest snake oil salesman, as is Boehner. They’re all liars, crooks and looters. Witness Ryan’s own clueless regurgitation of all the “you must pass TARP” scare-points as a feeble attempt to explain why he supported it.

Contrast that with the hugfest he’s getting today from “conservatives” and I might lose my lunch. His much-ballyhooed “budget from heaven” is nothing of the sort – do some research, folks.

  • GarandFan

Morrissimo – might I suggest you do the same. We already have one DNC echo chamber in this thread.

Or perhaps, you will present YOUR plan?

  • John

Woop all you ever post here is drive by bull shit. So I thought I’d try it out, and you have to go and say my head is up my ass, I’m begining to think you’re not very nice.

  • John

Ryan is a snake oil saleman? Really, I suppose you supported the guy that could heal the earth and make the oceans receed?

The only thing Presentdent Obama knows what to do with an olive branch is sharpen it into a shiv …

  • hcddbz

    RM,

I agree whole heartily for every dollar we collect we spend 1.5 -1.7. So more taxes will not help. We need to reduce spending. At the same time we need to allow the private sector to grow. The private sector need to grow because as we shed all those government programs we will need some place for the government workers to go to. Which is why we need to simplify the tax code.

I only brought the % numbers up to prove that the RICH pay a disproportion amount of taxes.

  • retired military

    hcddbz

Yes I know. The top 25 % of taxpayers pay over 86% OF THE TAXES.

  • http://www.freerepublic.us Brian_R_Allen

…. the most predictable “economic crisis” in our history ….

    “Economic crisis?”

    Rubbish.

We are in a MONETARY crisis that is the product of those Economics ignoramuses and liars, looters, moochers and thieves, including the RINO Gang that just gave us the entirely fabricated “Thity-Eight Billion Dollar” Boehner, that are going through the motions (mostly on America) putting Right the consequences of their own corruption.

Truly: The (criminally) insane have control of the asylum!
