Wasn’t the last time the Redskins won a an NFL championship when players wore leather helmets?

It feels that way… but they’ve actually won 5 championships, including 3 SuperBowls…

I became a Skins fan the season Sonny Jurgenson was traded from Philadelphia to Washington. Good seasons are fantastic, but they have been few and far between.
Teams with nicknames like Redskins and Browns are clearly racist, and their fans should be forced to listen to hours of taped Obama speeches until they repent.

My favorite Redskin super bowl was the one against the Raiders called Black Sunday. The score, just to remind, was 38 to 9.
Thanks, Rick. You made my day! Now, can you run the film of the second quarter of Super Bowl XXII?

The Giants team that the Danskins (a reference to the owner, not the leotards) beat was not the Giants team that began its run by winning the division at the last possible moment. After all, the Deadskins beat the Packers in the previous year.
