Santorum: ‘I Don’t Try To Rig Straw Polls’

Come on, Rick. Don’t go there, just don’t go there. It makes you look more like the sore losing Newt Gingrich rather than the actual conservative alternative to Mitt Romney.

Who says straw polls don’t matter. It’s obvious this one did. At least to Rick Santorum.

I'm not an author, lawyer, or professor. These seem to be the most common careers of bloggers these days. I'm just an average, commonsense, conservative who lives in a red state that flipped blue. America is lacking in the commonsense department. We've got plenty of lawyers and professors.

What a whiner!  Not to mention insulting a plurality of the voters there, it doesn’t seem Presidential, does it?

Will not stop me from crawling over broken glass to vote for him should he become the Republican nominee.

It’s amazing how his strategy is so “good” you’d vote for a religious zealot that doesn’t even have the backing of the Catholic church he supposedly represents.

Given his oath breaking disregard for the Constitution I’d vote for a syphilitic camel over Barrack Hussein Obama.

Wait his saying it automatically makes his assertion false. better we find out if the what he says is true.

Would someone who speaks jainphx’s language please translate the above into English for me?

Rick is showing why he is not up the task of competing as a front running candidate.  He also called Romney desperate in response to Mitts reasonable discussion of Santorum as a another washington legislator that voted for the spending and debt ceiling increases.  Sounds like Newt.

Maybe he’s as sick of the Romney tactics as many of the rest of us are. However whining doesn’t help…stay on offense.

It’s not worth getting angry about. No need to be a severe conservative here.

What he said was true. This was reported in the New York Times and at http://rightwingnews.com/column-2/cpac-straw-vote-victory-reveals-romneys-phoniness/.  If he had strong evidence that Romney bussed in a bunch of young people that he paid to vote for him, then I don’t blame him for bringing it up. He didn’t make a big deal of it.
