VIDEO: Violent Union Thugs Using Ball Bat on Effigy of SC Gov. Nikki Haley!

Here we have another union thug acting out a desire for violence. This time it’s Donna Dewitt, the President of the South Carolina AFL-CIO (a grand title for a chief thug, eh?), using a baseball bat to smack a piñata sporting the face of S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley on it.

Now, imagine, folks, if these were Republicans using a ball bat on an effigy of a Democrat Gov. — and a female one at that. This story would be the story of the day all over the news and would go on for weeks at a time. We’d never hear the end of it from the Old Media.

Democrats do it… and crickets.

In fact, if this was a video of Republicans doing such a thing, the GOP candidate for president would be tarred with their actions. Right now we’d be hearing calls from every last Democrat, every last member of the media (but I repeat myself) for Governor Mitt Romney to disavow this violence.

Again. Democrats do it…. and crickets.

Remember back when all Sarah Palin did was put the icon of a target on a map of targeted districts during the 2010 election? Remember how that became a symbol in the Old Media of the “violence” being urged by those evil Republicans? Well, here we have a ball bat being used on the face of a female Governor and… yep, crickets.”

Additionally, this is violence being acted out on a female politician. Again, imagine if Republicans were being so sexist against a female Democrat. That is yet another angle that Democrats would include in their lies about the so-called “Republican war on women.”

Democrats do it… more crickets.

If you ever wanted to see an example of the double standard of the Old Media establishment, this is one.

This video was originally posted by Becci Robbins, the communications director for the SC Progressive Network. I captured it just in case they try to send the video down the Internet memory hole.

Obviously they didn’t get the memo from their Obamassiah about ‘toning down the rhetoric’.

Why isn’t NOW up in arms over this? Beating a pinata with a woman’s face on it?
Attention, Democrats-these are not Tea Party members carrying out this act. If these were Tea Partiers, you would all be screaming about racism and sexism.

    • Jvette

Nicki Haley is not an AUTHENTIC woman. That’s why NOW will never condemn anything like this. If you do not toe their agenda, you are not really a woman and not worthy of their time or attention. Unless it’s to take the time to give you this type of attention.

  • jim_m

That’s OK because we can be assured that since they are leftists they are never racist or sexist.  /sarcasm

The reality based community seems to be heavily into symbolism.

When you have no substance, symbolism is everything.

Is everybody who joins a union a thug?  I can’t seem to remember seeing the word union without the word thug around here.

    • herddog505

No, many of them are like my father: you want a job, you join the union and you pay up and shut up, capice?

      • ackwired

I’ve heard of that.  Which union was your father in?

        • herddog505

          IAM, as I recall.

My good friend’s father was a Teamster and big supporter until he witnessed a coworker – a man detested in the plant as a worthless layabout – drop a bundle of new welding rods out of his jacket as he walked out past the security guard at the end of his shift.  As you may gather, they didn’t belong to him.  Naturally, the company fired him for stealing.

Thanks to the union, this thief was back on the job within a week.

This opened Bud’s eyes about the unions.  His disaffection was complete when he realized that his dues were going NOT to helping him and his fellow workers, but rather to union fatcats and electing democrats whose values were (shall we say?) not in line with his own.  My uncle had a similar epiphany.

          • ackwired

Must have been fairly recently.  The Teamsters were a Republican union throughout the Nixon era and after.

    • warnertoddhuston

Yes. Everyone that joins a union to BE a unionista is  thug… but not everyone that HAD to join a union just to be allowed to work.

      • ackwired

Now we know where you are coming from.

Here’s what Dewitt had to say.

” “Anyone that knows me knows there was no ill intent at all.  Our folks don’t go
to speeches with guns and things like that.  We have very loving people in our
    unions..”

Again I wonder. Are all democrats that removed from reality?

    • herddog505

Our folks don’t go to speeches with guns and things like that.

Yeah, they save these for scabs and OWS events.

A piñata, huh? So, you think of me as something bright and cheerful, full of toys and candy for young children? Thank you! That makes me feel much better about our relationship. ”

Actually, union leaders are the literal meaning of assholes. ww

  • Hugh_G

In her State of the Union address, Haley declared that unions “are not needed, not wanted and not welcome in the state of South Carolina.”

Kinda like some other folks weren’t wanted or welcomed in her dear old state. Well, I take that back; for some purposes they were wanted.

Yes sir, that little old lady “thug” ought to be feared. yes sir.
