Weekend Caption Contest™ Winners

This week’s Weekend Caption Contest™ was another smashing success. The assignment this week was to caption the following picture:

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama walk with former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush in the Cross Hall towards the East Room of the White House, May 31, 2012. The President and First Lady hosted a ceremony presenting the Bush's official portraits, which will be displayed in the White House. (Official White House Photo by Chuck Kennedy)

Here are the winning entries:

1) (guido81_MA) – “I truly sympathize with ya, Barry. The media raked me over the coals for 5% unemployment, $1.95 gasoline and playing too much golf. Man, they must really be tearing YOU a new one, right?

2) (Rodney Dill) – Bush: “Well I did feel better about lunch after I saw Bo running around outside.

3) (fustian24) – “Barry, it really wasn’t cool having yourself painted into all of the Presidential portraits.

4) (Proof) – “How ironic’, Barry thought, walking in lockstep with his predecessor, ‘that all my successes have been merely the continuation of his policies!’

5) (emrengineer) – “Integrity and All About Me, followed by Class and A$$.

6) (McGehee) – Michelle: “The thing that really shocked us when we moved in was all the keyboards still had their O keys.
Laura: “That’s because the ones we took were the zeroes.
Michelle: “Really? Why would you do that?

The Readers Choice Award this week goes to guido81_MA’s winning entry. In its place we offer one more judges favorite:

(Brian_The_Adequate) – “Big food stain on Michelle’s Dress……Bush’s fault.

That’s all for this weekend. A new edition of the Wizbang Weekend Caption Contest™ will debut Friday morning.
