SWAT-ting of Bloggers Discussed on Prime Time National News

The SWAT-ing of bloggers is finally being discussed in national news reports.

First, FoxNews.com carried a story about SWAT-ing. Then ABC News reported it on its website.

Now, SWAT-ting has made prime-time news.

SWAT-ting was discussed at the beginning of the 7 June 2012 edition of Special Report with Bret Baier.

Baier was interviewing U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss about information leaks pertaining to national security. Before ending the interview, Baier asked Chambliss to explain the letter that the Senator had sent to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. Chambliss then explained the SWAT-ting issue.

Although convicted domestic terrorist Brett Kimberlin denies having any involvement in SWAT-ting, Kimberlin’s name is being mentioned in stories about SWAT-ting. So, people are being given reason to find out who he is. Unfortunately for him, it is easier to learn about him via the Internet now than it was before the SWAT-ting began.

If the SWAT-ters are Kimberlin’s friends, then he doesn’t need enemies.
