Motorized Wheelchair Vs. Escalator Turns Out Exactly As You’d Expect – Hilarious

Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum couldn’t manage to avoid laughing at the absurdity of the Boston woman who attempted to ride and MBTA escalator in her motorized wheelchair. See the video below.

I’m pretty sure that by law they’re required to have elevators where ever they have escalators, and apparently the woman chose to forgo the elevator because there was a line there.

Some mistakes you only make once…

Don’t you commonly find pictographs on the railing that indicate no strollers or wheelchairs?

Or as Ron White has opined “You can’t fix stupid!”

Mobility is relative and I have no doubt she needs something to get around over significant distances, but after having cared for my late mother during her own mobility issues that culminated in her losing a leg to diabetes, I have to say that anyone who can walk down that stopped escalator like that should be on a scooter instead of a motorized wheelchair.

Not that a scooter would have worked any better for riding a moving escalator…

I expect to hear Bonaduce and the gang laughing at this woman on “World’s Dumbest” before very long.
