Tom Coburn Apologizes For Calling Harry Reid Incompetent

Last week Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) was quoted as saying, “If you want to ask why the Senate isn’t working, there’s one reason; it’s called Harry Reid. Incompetent and incapable of carrying on the leadership in the Senate.”

Dr. Coburn, ever the stickler for accuracy has apologized for calling Reid “incompetent.”

“Incontinent” was the word he was looking for. The rest of the quote he apparently stands behind.

From his expression, constipated would be the better word

This dirt bag deserves no such apology. Today he smeared Romney by saying that the reason Romney hasn’t released his taxes is because he never submitted returns. Really? The man is a felon tax evader and the IRS, which has audited anyone and everyone who has even slighted obama has not figured this out?

Reid is a scumbag and deserves whatever people call him. Incompetent is only scratching the surface.

Corrupted is a better word and no apology is coming for Harry scumbag.

Thank you Nevada! And when you become the official nuclear dump for the US, you’ll know why.

Sen. Coburn is on target again. Remember about a month ago when you were all calling him stupid, addled, and foolish?

    • Sky__Captain

We already know Dingy Harry is stupid, addled, and foolish.
Look at the lack of a budget from the Senate for the last 3 years.

We already know Dingy Harry is stupid, addled, and foolish.

That’s the thing… he isn’t. He’s malicious. He’s figured out that he doesn’t have to actually do his job and yet no one will call him on it. He can turn the Senate into his own personal fiefdom and no one will call him on it. This lack of a budget? That’s purely by intent.

“He’s figured out that he doesn’t have to actually do his job and yet no one will call him on it.”

Nailed it. He’s at the top of the Dem food chain. He isn’t responsible to ANYONE – at least, until his next election. And if he gets bumped out he won’t care – he’s scammed enough to be set for life.

Why should he do his ostensible job as Senator? He’s seeing it as far more important to make sure the Democrats have things locked down, that he has control of the entire legislative process, and that NOTHING gets done without his approval.

Guess it goes to show, you don’t need the head guy to serve as anything more than a figurehead. The real power’s in the Senate, and when you’re the head of the Senate – it’s all yours.

And he is all three for retracting his assertion that Reid is incompetent.

      • ackwired

Never apologize for being offensive or impolite, Jim.

        • jim_m

You’re correct. The left certainly does not. ;)

          • ackwired

Never do anything that would put yourself above them.

  • Hank_M

Why would Coburn apologize for complimenting Reid?

  • Idahoser

THANK YOU, NRA, for supporting this incontinent POS. CLEARLY you were right to support him.
