Here is your open thread for tonight’s debate. Various Wizbang authors (including some former bloggers) will be live blogging the debate here, and you can watch the embedded feed here as well.
Here’s a Twitter feed for #tcot
Below is the live blogging…
According to @jpodhoretz: Debate will end with Obama having 10 percent more time than Romney.
Is that really necessary? Obama saying he doesn’t believe in government made me laugh.
Create the next Solyndra?
Didn’t call the assassination an act of terror, but have a generic “no act of terror will deter us” line at the end of the remarks. The whole Rose Garden speech was generic. It was the lie upon lie from administration officials in the following days that people are upset about.
Obama: Save Me Candy!
Fast and Furious got shot down hard by Crowley.
Assault weapons question? Really?
“The suggestion anyone on my team would play politics on Benghazi is offensive” HA HA HA HA.
He might have even attended a PDB, though probably not…
Because 9/11 is just another day in Obama-land…
Maybe Obama will explain why there was no general increase in security at any location world wide on 9/11.
Cary Latka FTW
Yep. Sly move there…
From the Twitter feed… Pretty awesome.

Pay discrepancy for women answer from Obama was “we gave Pell Grants”? Really? Holy Hell, I wish I were debating this clown.
How does OBL being dead help anyone without a job?
Agreed.
All about “we” the government getting your “money”. The end. Vote tomorrow.
Anyone notice on economics & taxes, Obama said under Romney capital gains tax will remain low for “the wealthy” so “we’re not going to get money that way”?
Just heard Obama say “…if we’re serious about cutting the deficit…” It’s a punchline in and of itself.
Reminding self that facts don’t need to be true. The President simply needs to say it is so. By the time it’s refuted, his target audience has been affected. And most won’t hear the facts later. Demagoguery.
I am behind the debate. 12 y/o keeps pausing the DVR to take notes. I can hardly complain that she’s disrupting the flow…
Yep. Obama doesn’t understand bankruptcy: http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/330638/obama-doesnt-understand-bankruptcy-lisa-schiffren
So I am listening on radio. Sounds like a draw on radio.
When Romney is elected, will a former president Barack Obama be gracious enough to blame economic struggles on Romney’s inherited inheritance? It will forever be Bush’s fault, won’t it?
I miss Jim Leher…
Questioners should be mocked if they ask dumb questions.
Bring the living Constitution with you when you come, Kevin.
Sorry guys, I got delayed at work. Won’t be back to the living blog for 30 minutes.
Who else can’t wait for the first network to officially declare Barack Obama the Comeback Kid? Side note: Will MSNBC at least wait for the first question to be answered?
Tonight should be very interesting. Obama could hardly do worse than last time, but debate #2 and #3 won’t really matter compared to number one, unless one candidate just tanks it again. Romney isn’t likely to screw up. In trying to play catch up Obama has to take the biggest risks of coming across poorly by being to aggressive.
