obama-lincoln-cp-w61099571-1

‘I never compare myself to Lincoln.”

President Obama answering David Gregory’s “Is this your Lincoln moment?” question on Meet The Press.

President Barack Obama speaking in Decorah, Iowa – August 15, 2011:

“When you listen to what the Federalists said about the Anti-Federalists, and the names that Jefferson called Hamilton and back and forth — I mean those guys were tough,” Obama said. “Lincoln — they used to talk about him almost as bad as they talk about me. So democracy has never been for the faint of heart.”

He is such a liar: ”

President Barack Obama speaking in Decorah, Iowa – August 15, 2011

“When you listen to what the Federalists
said about the Anti-Federalists, and the names that Jefferson called
Hamilton and back and forth — I mean those guys were tough,” Obama
said. “Lincoln — they used to talk about him almost as bad as they
talk about me. So democracy has never been for the faint of heart.””

    And

“President Obama pushed his Midwest “self pity” tour into new ground
this past week with his claim that he has it harder than President
    Lincoln did.

“Everyone thinks that Lincoln had it tough,” Obama said. “But let’s
not forget that his opposition was confined to one region of the
country. Secessionists only controlled 11 states in the South. Today,
I’m beset from all sides. Tea Party extremists operate in every state
and control the government in a majority of them. We live in perilous
times. The fate of the nation is at stake.”

Poor narcissist. No one loves Him, no one appreciates Him. Barry could go on for hours on how wonderful Barry is.

By coincidence I never think of him as any thing like Lincoln either.

Wilson is closer to the mark.

It pales in comparison to the names Bush was called.

I actually got into a (brief- I had better things to do) discussion with a lib friend on facebook about the vitriol coming from the left. I pointed out the Bush=Hitler comparisons, and even the recent violent tweets by prominent liberals towards the NRA & gun owners. His reply included the standard boilerplate- Fox News blah blah blah and “well the right does it a lot more,” and even “well the left polices its own and doesn’t allow that stuff to stand.”

Selective memory doesn’t even begin to cover it…
