Weekend Caption Contest™ Winners

This week’s Weekend Caption Contest™ was another 32 ounce success. I highly recommend a full read through the entries as there were far too many excellent captions to honor them all. The assignment this week was to caption the following picture:

Here are the winning entries:

1) (jim_m) – “One has no spine, no brain and is a puppet sometimes used to support left wing causes. The other is Kermit the Frog.

2) (fustian24) – “Kermit is breaking the news to Bloomberg that Sesame Street is moving to Texas because the tax structure is just too appealing to ignore.

3) (David Robertson) – “One has a hand stuck up his butt. The other has his head there. Can you tell which is which?

4) (RestlessLegs) – “Neither one should be taxpayer-funded.

5) (Rodney Dill) – “Since the Obama Incident, Fly control has become all the rage among the elite politicians.

6) (Paul Hooson) – “A is for Asshole. B is for Bloomberg. C is for Controlling. D is for Dictator….

The Readers Choice Award this week went to jim_m’s winning entry. In its place we reward the most Caption Contest self-referencial caption of the week…

(fustian24) – “You know, there isn’t anything wrong with New York that a 100 foot tall radioactive Wookie, just back from being teabagged by Dennis Rodman at a UN circle jerk couldn’t fix…

That’s all for this weekend. A new edition of the Wizbang Weekend Caption Contest™ will debut Friday morning.

Fustian was just plain great this week. He had as many good entries as the Japanese once had planes over Pearl Harbor….swarms. And his latest Japanese rubber monster reference also inspired me to write a movie background story over at Wizbang Pop of how North Korea intelligence agents once kidnapped a director and an actress and forced them to both work on the 1985 North Korean giant rubber monster movie, PULGASARI. It was produced by Kim Jong-IL of all people! Kim Jong-IL was such a fan of the GODZILLA movies, that he wanted to produce his own giant rubber monster movie. Kim was only an enemy of American culture publicly, but privately collected perhaps thousands of American films.

Fustian’s outrageous entry also read like a greatest hits of some of the darnest and most outrageous entries in the past few weeks. He sure made me laugh this week!

As you know, I just packaged up a suggestion you made.

      Cracked me up, though…

Inspiration, led to inspiration, to inspiration here. And you inspired me to that great story about that Kim Jong-IL giant rubber monster movie as well.

  • Thanks Kevin!

Ha! I’m totally astonished. Thank you.

    • It was a really good caption.

I just want it on the record that I guessed the first part was about Bloomberg even before I got to the end…
