Watch This Guy Brilliantly Satirize Our Useless, Nanny State Governments

An effete representative from Citizens For A Really Safe Ashland–and we know he’s effete because he has a waxed mustache and an ascot–has a message for us all. It’s a message of great import, one that will help everyone keep us all safe. It’s for the children, you know?

I don’t know who this fellow is, but his dry wit brilliantly skewers our useless, nanny state government interlopers who constantly issue decree after liberty destroying decree to justify their existence.

If I ever find out who this guy is, I’ll update this post. But, as it is this guy’s work is simply fantastic.

I’m pretty sure that’s Lawrence Westlake.

        And coherent.

I’ll bet that they failed to really understand the satire involved here.

I think one of the Council members said that they could vote on the measure that night, even though the ordinance was not yet completed, because they had to pass the law to see what was in it. Besides, it’s for the children.
