Rick Adams was a technical genius this week. If I only had his skills what I could create! – I was raised on MAD and CRACKED Magazines and had to hand draw all my cartoons or do cut and paste work to create my own humor magazines and artwork. I’m old school, but Rick has both the new tech knowledge as well as the brilliant mind to put together great stuff. Congrats to you Rick, you are the great one!

    • Agreed, Rick nailed this one early

Thanks! The funny thing is, I couldn’t for the life of me think of a caption, so I gave up — then a few minutes later that popped into my head. “Oh! So obvious!” PS: I remember the (literal) cut and paste era too! Good times, good times.

You have my deep respect,Rick. You’re a great comedy writer as well as a tech wiz. MAD Magazine could use a few good men like you. Your photoshop comedy creations are pure genius!

All good, as usual. I did think my Warren Zevon “Where’s Lon Chaney jr?” entry would have done better. I guess it was just a bit to far of a reach.

    • Rick Adams

      Oh, NOW I get it…!

      • yetanotherjohn

That’s the problem. The entry you think the best you have to offer just doesn’t click or goes over people’s head. There’s always next Friday.

You do impress me with some very good entries. I like your entries much of the time. This one might have been too subtle for less than true music fans. – I often have an entry that makes me laugh real hard because it is so offensive or outrageous that I just love, that seems to go nowhere, so I trimmed back the sails to less outrageous shock humor based entries to more clever plays on words or familiar terms.
