This week’s Weekend Caption Contest™ was another smash hit. The assignment this week was to caption the following picture:

Here are the winning entries:

1) (Rodney Dill) – “Holder? I don’t even know her.

2) (fustian24) – “At least Nero could play an instrument.

3) (yetanotherjohn) – “Two men without a scruple between them.

4) (Par4Course) – “Dumb and Dumber.

5) (Joe_Miller) – “President Obama chats with Stedman in the green room before going on the Oprah Show

6) (EricSteel) – “As Holder explains the situation in Ferguson, Obama is deep in thought… ‘I should have used the Niblick instead of the Sand Wedge on 8th this morning.’

The Readers Choice Award went to Rodney Dill’s winning entry. In its place we offer one more excellent, inside baseball, entry:

(Retired military) – “The poster on Chico’s bedroom wall.

That’s all for this weekend. A new edition of the Wizbang Weekend Caption Contest™ will debut Friday morning.

I missed the Stedman joke which is pretty good. Rodney Dill’s entry was great shtick comedy, while Retired Military reflected classic insult comedy and well channeled Don Rickles here.

Rodney keeps winning these things before I even get up.

I figure he’s either a night watchmen or a vampire.

    • jim_m

Why not both. What sort of job would you expect a vampire to have?

      • fustian24

Do they call them “vatchmen” or “watchpires”?

    • I’m on the internet with my coffee every morning before I head into work. Of course, then I’m on a computer all day with internet access.

      • fustian24

        But no mention of working.

I like the cut of your jib “Wally”…

  • Par4Course

All entries were good but I thought Rodney’s winning entry was more appropriate for our last Democrat President. My choice would have been the Stedman comment – with a hat tip to Dennis Miller.
