Mickey Mouse, Spammer?

This isn't going to look so good in the Annual Report:

Go.com, the Disney owned mega portal has been added to a variety of spam blackwhole lists, in particular they are part of the industry leading MAPS Real Time Black Hole List as well as the SpamCop list. Go.com is the home base for all Disney Internet properties (ABC, Disney, ESPN, etc.) and they provide a free web based e-mail service like Microsoft (Hotmail), Yahoo and others sites provide.

Pietro at The SmarterCop and I have discovered the pain of the Go.com e-mail blacklisting first hand. To make sure that it wasn't just an issue with his account, I setup a brand new Go.com e-mail account to test out my theory that they had been black-holed. As I expected, they are listed in multiple black hole lists, and a large percentage of mail from Go.com is not getting to recipients.

Here is a link to the entry for the Go.com mail server on the MAPS Real Time Black Hole List. Read the extended entry on the contact history with the Disney Internet team (or lack thereof) here. Perhaps a little publicity will cause Disney to finally address this issue? If you are a Go.com e-mail user it's time to jump to another e-mail provider. MyWay.com is a good popup ad free alternative. Time get the Mouseketeers on the case here!

I've included the relavant e-mails with headers below, so you can see for yourself the black hole list in action.
