Parents are seeking state aide in Kansas for a class action suit against vaccine maker Eli Lilly. Many parents and scientists believe that thimerosal, a mercury compound that has been used for decades in vaccines, is responsible for autism. There is an interesting note at the end of the story:
A provision in the Homeland Security bill originally shielded Eli Lilly from lawsuits brought by parents of autistic children. Congress repealed that provision earlier this year.That is good news.
