Shout outs to my neighbor who was nice enough to fire up is generator at 6:30AM to help wake us up. Do not be surprised if that generator develops sudden mechanical problems..
The Washington Post says it could be days before power is restored. That sucks.
While I'm in Loudoun Co., apparently I am in an area that uses Fairfax Co.'s water source. I never lost power, briefly lost cable, and I have no water - not even a trickle. They're saying 48-72 hours before it's back. Yay.

Indeed. Sorry to hear it. Somehow, I've managed to escape that fate so far.
