What Earthquake?

Maybe Rummy farted in the super secret bunker...

WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- A light earthquake struck central Virginia Tuesday, causing no injuries and no significant damage.

The U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center, which monitors earthquake events worldwide, reported the Magnitude 4.5 quake struck at 3:59 p.m. EST about 28 miles west of Richmond and about 100 miles southwest of Washington.

It did however cause a massive explosion of "live on the scene" reporting and interruptions of normal programming in DC. This for something barely felt in DC.

Spiny Norman:

4.5? What's that? That ain't no earthquake, I was directly over the epicenter during a 6.7 in 1992 and nobody was asking "did you feel that?" There were so many aftershocks that later that week, some wiseacre printed up t-shirts that read: Oh Lord, give us this day only a 4.5

Why, in MY day... oh nevermind.

Fun, ain't they?

I rarely feel anything belo... (Below threshold)

I rarely feel anything below a 5.0.
