Oh excellent! You have hit on exactly the reason that I refuse to enter a Walmart unless there is no other option! As far as I'm concerned, they can't save me enough money to make it worth my while to stop there.

I've just returned from Sun City West, Arizona (visiting my parents) and the Wal-Mart stores there are UNBELIEVABLE! They are clean, well-stocked, and employ competent sales clerks.
Coincidentally, this is one of the topics that I am going to cover in my upcoming essay about the dangerous and unnatural social experiment we call "retirement communities."

I believe they're a good resource for some firearms and hunting supplies. Beyond that? Not much.

i have always felt like Target was where poor people with taste could shop. i can't stand shopping in Wal-Mart unless it's 2:00 am, when the great unwashed are passed out in their nascar jammies.

Although I live in Australia I can understand
We also have KMart, Target but we have no Walmart (yet)
But we have Big W (which I think is Aussie equlivent) the quailty of sevices and goods is diffrent from store to store also suburb to suburb eg a store in the poorer suburbs will have a poorer quailty store. Taking that into account great views on big chain supermarket and how they don't care about the end comsumer on their bottom line!!
