I didn't a 9-year old could kick hard enough to do $15,000 worth of damage. I think that's taking suing people a bit too far.

The actual damage amount was a couple hundred. The rest was because the parents weren't videotaping it, thus costing the waiter a chance at his share of $100,000 on "Funniest Home Videos."
