The California Yankee links to a Washington Times article that ought to put to rest the foreign leaders John Kerry supposedly met with.
Sen. John Kerry refuses to provide any information to support his assertion earlier this week that he has met with foreign leaders who beseeched him to prevail over President Bush in November's election.Update: The truth gap widens. First there is the Cuban vote issue (Note to John - It's a bad idea to flip flop on issues you've already voted on - they keep records of those votes.).The Massachusetts Democrat has made no official foreign trips since the start of last year, according to Senate records and his own published schedules. And an extensive review of Mr. Kerry's travel schedule domestically revealed only one opportunity for the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee to meet with foreign leaders here.
The only instance found when Mr. Kerry was in the same town as a foreign leader was Sept. 24, when New Zealand Foreign Minister Philip Goff was in Washington meeting with State Department officials. On that day, according to his schedule, Mr. Kerry received the endorsement of the International Association of Fire Fighters in Washington.
Now ordinary citizens are asking for an explaination of who those foreign leaders are. They're not getting answers either, unless you count "Bush did blah, blah, blah..." as an answer.

I am shocked, SHOCKED, that Kerry might have lied about this. There must be some mistake. The Wash Times must've missed Kerry's finely-nuanced earlier declarations.
I'm just waiting for the REAL heavyweight ads to go after Kerry. I imagine an ad that shows Kerry accusing Bush of being AWOL from the National Guard, then a slide showing his attendance on Senate votes over the last year or two. Kerry accusing Bush of not using the intelligence services, then showing Kerry's vote to gut the funding of the CIA. Kerry accuses Bush of failing in the war, then a long list of all the military programs voted against. Kerry slams Bush for the outsourcing of jobs outside the country, then a slate showing how many of Heinz' jobs have gone overseas.
Another ad would be Kerry spouting one position, then Kerry getting flipped around and arguing with himself. He really is "a man for all reasons."

Flip flops in Cuban are called Chancletas. thus, Kerry would be a Chancletero. and that is a very derrogatory term.

Good going. Love your blog. Imagination is a great thing... when used appropriately. Unfortunately Kerry seems to have missed the class in story telling. Keep up the good work!

Bush isn't perfect, and I don't agree with him on everything he's done, but the alternative is truly frightening. With everything that's going on in the world, we simply cannot afford a guy like John F'n Kerry in the White House -- it would be DISASTROUS.

Senator Kerry is guilty of betraying his own country for the sake of a few foreign leader votes. Did he really call his Secret Service Agent a "Son of a Bitch?"
