Read this. Now.

Of the two stereotypes of bloggers, I try to be more of a "thinker" than a "linker," more interested in expressing my own thoughts than hitching my star to those of others. But Bill Whittle has written what HAS to be the definitive essay on the War On Terror. So go to the bathroom, grab a snack if need be, and sit down for a bit. Be warned -- it's over 14,000 words. This will take some serious time and more serious thought.
