Nicole Kidman is in for a rocky week if the US supermarket tabloid The National Enquirer is to be believed.Borderline disgusting? Maybe I'm cynical, but it sure seems like a convient way to generate interest in a crappy movie...Controversial ... Nicole's latest role might be locked away.
Her latest movie, Birth - made after the soon-to-open Stepford Wives - see the Australian Oscar winner Kidman play a young widow who falls in love with a 10-year-old boy she believes is the reincarnation of her dead husband.
But executives from New Line Cinema, the production company, are reportedly considering pulling the $US50 million ($72 million) flick because of scenes showing Kidman bathing naked with the young lad.
Sources told the Enquirer that the film had undergone a string of creative battles and rewrites.
Now executives have told the film's executive producers that the two scenes - showing Kidman and the boy stripping off and kissing in the bath - are "borderline disgusting" to watch.

Talk about double standards (and I'm just as guilty as anyone else). Imagine if it was a man kissing a 10 year-old girl in a bath... It wouldn't even be a a slight dilemma of whether to release or not.

Of course it is somewhat hard to judge on the "disgustingness" of the nude pics without the evidence to see first. If it is just a mature woman bathing naked with a kid---- well, where is the problem? At least in many countries outside the US people are naked together at the beach or in swimmingpools, jakuzzis or saunas all the time without any major erotical conotation. However, if there is more than just some simple, caring and loving touching, than there would be a problem, because sexual contact with minors are just not o.k., not matter if they are boys or girls.
Of course it is probably most teenage boys wetdream to get rubbed down by a mature woman like Kidman, that doesn't make it right and I do have a friend who was molested by his aunt at the age of thirteen and it took him a long time to get over it..........

And what is Michael Jackson charged with? And here is Kidman doing similar things, in a $72 million movie, before a crowd of witnesses called a film crew.
She gets charged in my court of law, along with the financiers, the Director, and any that were present on the set.
