The town I grew up in had one street that descended at about 50 degrees to a T intersection and faced the National Guard armory. They closed it in winter, of course. But it was fun to ride down it on a bike (after your spotters got in place down on the road below, of course.)

Okay Paul, give me a few days and I accept the challenge. Costa Rica has got to have the worst streets in the world. There are potholes here the size of Bathtubs! The combination of the long rainy season (April-November) and the poorly constructed roads creates a Death Race 2000 atmosphere just trying to get to work. I am going to see if I can get you a couple of pics this week.

Very true, but when your car falls in a hole so deep, that it ends up coming out in China, you KNOW you have found A POTHOLE!

Na- Sink holes don't count--
And if they do I'll dig of the pictures of when we had a whole salt dome collapse-- 2 miles of highway went missing that day.

Okay, after examining the PDF, and seeing that the buckling or whatever you call it was an act of God (Heat), I want to know why my pothole/sinkhole does not qualify. They are similar types of conditions. Sorry Paul Buddy, I think independent judges need to be called in on this.
