Voting on entries in last weeks anniversary edition of the Bonfire of the Vanities closes tomorrow (July 5). Greg at Begging to Differ is running away with the title of worst post of the year, but there's still time for some other unlucky blogger to overtake him. Adam Harris is the closest competitor, and he appears to want the titile!
Bonfire of the Vanities entries for this weeks edition (Week 53 - to be hosted at Chapomatic) are due by Tuesay July 6 by midnight EDT (due to the holiday). Send a link to your worst post along with any self serving excuses or clever self mocking to: bonfire at wizbangblog.com. OK, thanks, Kevin. Wading through the dreck I've tossed up hereis rather humbling, but I think I'll have to offer up this one in "My god, nobody else cares, so why doesn't he just shut the hell up about it?" category, in which I go into excruciatingly fine detail about a bunch of boats that have been obsolete for over sixty years AND manage to both brag and rag on myself at once. If that doesn't cover at least a couple definitions of "vanity," I dunno what will...
