This weeks Weekend Caption Contest™ tended toward the "touchy feely" as evidenced in the "trying to hard to be buddies" photo ops between John Kerry and his new vice presidential running mate John Edwards. Even the return of Rodney Dill (from parts unknown) was not enough to pass up Bill's masterpiece. Bill, you had me at "my Lord John" ...

The one about the SEcret Service doesn't make any sense. I can't believe that beat out any reference to zippers, hands under the desk, etc. I'll give you the first one, simply because of the use of the term "dew-dappled." However, the third one is the weakest "touchy-feely" reference out of all the submissions. Overall, a very weak top three. Whoever makes these decisions might be retarded.
