In case I hadn't mentioned it, Wizbang will be at the Republican National Convention as one of the officially accredited bloggers. In the spirit of democracy I'm giving Wizbang readers a vote in who will go on the interview stalking list. Each week leading up to the convention there will be a different category, such as news babes, celebrities, talking heads, politicians, etc. This weeks vote is for news babes. There will be upward of 15,000 journalists covering the convention so there should be no shortage of media types to interview, but the winner of this election will be target #1.

Voting will remain open until August 7th. From my recollection of the vote tracking, you can vote up to twice a day.
Reminder
Any money you can spare to sponsor Wizbang's coverage is HUGELY appreciated. As a special incentive, donations of $50 (or more) will get a sponsor link in the Wizbang Sponsors section from the date of their donation through the convention. Everyone who donates will get private access to all the pictures I take during the week.
Update: Rob of SayAnything has graciously (and I might add independently) offered up photos of his girlfriend au natural (with her concurrence of course) for those who donate. How can you turn down an offer like that? Hint - You can't...
Update 2: Powerline's Hindrocket is now one of the credentialled RNC bloggers. Congratulations.

Ask Juliette Huddy about her time as the "newschick" on Lex & Terry's radio show here in Jacksonville.

Daryn Kagan isn't the hottest - IMHO - but she's very down to earth and really cool, too. I've bumped into her a few times at parties here in Atlanta, and she was very gracious. I think she's a bit of a bleeding-heart, though...

Those particular pictures of Eccleston seem to breathe life into the saying "rode hard and put up wet" -- she looks a bit used up. Dhue, on the other hand...

Whiile Laurie Dhue should win - in the area of newsbabes, she's unonventional warfare, a weapon of mass destruction - her closest competition isn't even listed...
That would be Rudi Bahktiar from CNN Headline News. Simply gorgeous...

CNN Headline News anchors weren't considered, since they are unlikely to be attending. I did leave people off if I didn't think there was a chance they would be there.
