THE BLOGGERS MADE US DO IT

Ok, so who is to blame for the New York Times running a horrifically ill-researched and increasingly scandalous report about missing explosives???

Bloggers.

Editor: Leaks Hastened Report on Missing Explosives

On Sunday night, New York Times Executive Editor Bill Keller told Jeff Fager, executive producer of CBS's "60 Minutes," that the story they had been jointly pursuing on missing Iraqi ammunition was starting to leak on the Internet.

"You know what? We're going to have to run it Monday," Keller said.

Congratulations J o s h u a M i c a h M a r s h a ll, you made CBS, the NY Times and above all your candidate look like opportunistic hacks. If this backfires, they are going to hold you responsible.

Yeah, but the real issue is still unaddressed.

Clearly, res ispa loquitur clearly, an agency of the United Nations has attempted to influence the outcome of the election of the President of the United States!

Now THAT makes me mad.

THE NEW YORK TIMES AND CBS NEED TO BE PUNISHED. I'm tired of the manipulation that has gone on for the last 40 years. Their agenda is not for America. Maybe we should ban non--US owner ship of our media.

Just shows how really amateurish the NY Times has become. They've always been sleazy, but now they've become sleazy and stupid. LOL. A first year journalism could have done a better researching job on that story.

IT IS ABOUT TIME WE BOYCOTT THE MSM. Can somebody find out who the advertisers are for the nightly news??? Post them and we can emial how we feel. FYI--I know what kerry meant when he said "his experience in vietnam would guide him in the war in Iraq". 4 months and he is out of there.

Talking Points Memo? More like Talking Point Memo. Sheesh, give it a rest, Joshua.

The problem is that he came out strong for the "story." Now that evidence is showing that it is bogus, he is having to spin the new evidence like a top to keep it from making him wrong about his earlier statements.

This whole thing was the counterspin theme by the Demos to distract and attempt to suppress the breaking Kerry-Is-Advised-By-And-Accepts-Funding-From-Terrorists issue.

Remember that? TREASONGATE, or, COMMIEGATE or thereabouts...blogs were beginning to discuss this very important aspect about Kerry and then, presto, there was this "missing weapons (and blame Bush)" meme...

So, again, the TRAITORGATE information, as has the Swiftvets information, hits home to Kerry and they splurge with spray paint when cornered. Joshua Micah...has two cans all to himself.

WAmom:

I think the NYT rushed with the explosives story, because the bloggers were hyping a major anti-Kerry story to come Monday morning. It did completely overwelm the Kerry-lied-about-the_Security-Council story.

Jim:

I think the damage has been done to Bush. Does anyone really believe the MSM will go after the NY Slimes and C-BS for their obvious politically-motivated hatchet job? Even Fox News Channel avoids using the words "lie" or "misleading" when discussing the controversy. I was talking to someone in the gym who's a Bush supporter and he was upset about the NY Times story. When I told him the story was debunked, he was surprised because he wasn't aware of that. The majority of voters are not visiting the blogosphere or listen to radio talk shows. The NY Times doesn't believe they must be honest -- they believe they are the intellectual elite who are above honesty. In fact, to them honesty is an antiquated concept. Everything is relative in their world.
