Listening to my betters

Well, this is embarassing. I go off on an extended rant about the Geneva Convention, tossing off a few pithy pieces and half-assed observations, without actually doing much actual research. It turns out that those who know a hell of a lot better beat me to it, and did it better.

No worries. Most people cannot admit it when they make a mistake -- it takes some character to do that.

Bottom line on the Geneva Convention argument is this: Even if this goes to a court-martial, he will be tried by a jury of his peers.
