Is it supposed to be satire?

The ironically-challenged Barbara from mahablog has a post so --- well--- OK I'll say it -- So stupid, she has to be being satirical.

The death toll from the tsunami continues to climb. Reuters UK is reporting 63,000 dead. The World Health Organization estimates that as many people could die of infectious disease in the aftermath of the disaster. ...

President Bush has shamed our nation by pledging only $15 million for disaster aid. His upcoming coronation is expected to cost more than twice that. So, as want and disease and famine and grief spread over much of the earth, the Boy King will be whooping it up in grandly austentatious [sic] style. ...

The impact of this disaster is beyond calculation. The earth was knocked off its axis. Islands have changed locations. Entire families, probably some entire communities, are lost. Surely this is a time for humans to pull together as a species, as fellow inhabitants of our planet, and do whatever we can.

In this "pulling together" are we supposed to follow Barbara's lead? Nothing pulls people together like calling the President a nation shaming, Boy King now does it???

For her sake, I hope that's satire... Because either that is satire or that was just a colossally stupid thing to write.

It was almost as stupid as the UN saying we don't spend enough money...on them? HA! Yes, and we should also pay more taxes! You see, if we have our own money, we cannot decide what trustworthy org.'s to donate to, instead of having the gov't rip us off! Hehehe. Hey Kofi...go suck an egg.

hahaha. You people are a joke. You spend your time picking on other peoples point of view when your own is so misguided. I guess you think that the US should do what ever it takes to stay the supreme global super power. It doesnt matter what happens to the rest of the world. George Bush is doing great things for the world isnt he.

Now thats satire for you.

"If the Earth has been knocked off its axis how come its still snowing here in the North of Scotland?"

Before you ridicule others statements you need to think. A small shift in the earths rotational axis wont stop it from snowing in Scotland. You have been watching too many movies.

This blog is a joke. Filled with the most idiotic statements I have ever come accross.

Sorry for that last post but I sometimes lose my temper with those who believe questioning things the Bush administration does is America bashing. But, I believe to not criticize things our country does if one disagrees with it is unpatriotic. Google Thomas Jefferson quotes. Also, pride is one of the seven deadly sins. Once again, I apologize for my previous rapid post and obscene language.

Such a stupid comment... Our tax money should damned well go to helping out our own nation, our own problems, our own starving children, etc. if people want to help out those poor souls affected by the earthquake/tsunmai, do it on your own dime. Take the time, find the appropriate charity, and actually donate some time/money to them, and feel better about it.

This incessant whining for the government to do what people can do on their own time merely goes to demonstrate the weak-willed, spineless nature of those complaining about the President's supposed "penny-pinching" nature. Stop relying on the government to do everything for you, and do something yourself.

And no, I am not talking about the poor dead people and their families. I am talking about the politicos. It is also hard to have sympathy for governments that need help so desperately, yet refuse the help the Israelis offered. It is a reflection of the character of President Bush, the American people, and the Israelis that no matter how hard you kick us or spit in our faces, we are still willing to help you when you need it. Second that. That's the difference between the US (at least the non-moonbats) and the rest of the world that the world just can't grasp - we don't need or want the government doing everything for us. We can take care of ourselves, thank you, and we'll take care of others by ourselves too. Those UN pussies are going to have egg on their faces when the final numbers of contributions, including private donations, are in.

Lemme see, which will be more effective at disseminating money to the people affected by this earthquake/typhoon...

1) The American government, who cannot even balance its daily budget, and has no fucking clue how to plan for the future.

2) Charity organizations specially geared towards getting money from people to people.

Additionally, the American government should have never started being a charity, anywhere in its past. Sadly, people like you have shoved it down that path, and here we are, suckered into the situation of being taxed out the ass just to help other people, without any voice in the matter. If you want to help others, fine, do it, and be merry. Me, I want a fucking choice.

I don't think calling the President names nullifies anything else she said. The President certainly isn't with the program of "pulling together". Are you just looking for random anecdotes to make the Bush-haters look bad? It's not working.

As for Bush-hating, there are hundreds of superb reasons to truly hate Bush, his administration and his party. Perhaps this is your way avoiding a serious discussion of the immoral crimes of Bush.

-He lied about WMD's
-Thousands of people died as a result.
-The VP is personally profiting from the war.
-His party consciously appeals to bigots in order to get votes.
