No jury of my peers would convict me.
They'd understand.

Another miscarriage of justice...
It was a Chrysler LeBaron for goodness sake... they should have pinned a medal on his chest.

Florida authorities would have given him a medal if he'd simply denied it gas and anti-freeze instead of shooting it.

A .380? Much too light of a load, even for a small sedan. Shoulda used at least a .40 S&W, .45 ACP, or better yet a .44 mag, if you don't mind lugging a heavy wheel gun. But a .380? For a Yugo, maybe.......

While I've never actually shot a car (on purpose, we won't go into accidental discharge), I have vented rage with a hammer, a steel-toed boot, and a hefty length of 2x4. There's a Ford Explorer in South Texas that still has a valid restraining order against me, if memory serves. I try not to think about it too much. *sob* DAMN BITCH *choke*

Actually, it depends on whether it was charging him at the time. If it wasn't, then a carefully placed .380 would have brought it down -- he just would've had to follow it around through the streets for several hours to make sure it didn't hurt somebody before it finally died.
