Go read Best of the Web Today (the first story about Eugene Delgaudio). Here's the meat of James Taranto fascination with AP's coverage of the story,

What's hilarious about this is that the AP plays this story (you'll pardon the expression) straight, when it turns out Delgaudio is essentially a clown.
