Although from what I've read her struggle could probably be described more as "ambivalent" rather than "monumental", my prayer for her is that she would, in fact, free herself from her addictions.

Having said that, though, what other posters in this thread have noted is that Ms. Love has always had a fat mouth and an even fatter ego whose lifestyle and attitudes have caught up with her physically. In fact, I think it's a wee bit ironic that she now looks like what she has always disdained, that is, a plump, middle-aged matron.

And I think that her fat mouth and fat ego are her real problems, not, ultimately, the drugs. If she doesn't succeed in keeping them in check, they will merely find another outlet for expression, and these pathetic little countroom scenes will be repeated.
