Nominations for The 2005 Weblog Awards are now opened earlier this week. Nominations close November 26, 2005 (next Saturday), but don't put off nominating your favorite blogs - DO IT NOW!!!.
In case you hadn't noticed among the 37 categories there are new categories for podcasts, video blogs, parenting blogs, business blogs, law blogs, and religious blogs.
The big news is that comment registration is no longer required. Only those authenticated via Typekey will have their nominations immediately published (others will be moderated), but if you can't (or wont) sign in via Typekey you will be able to leave a nomination in the comment section.
I've been on the road for much of the week so any help Wizbang readers can provide in spreading the word to other bloggers (especially those in the non-Ecosystem categories) is sincerely appreciated.
