50 probably should have said gangster if what he had in mind didn't carry certain pop-culture connotations.

In the context of his interview, it sounds like its a compliment. More often that not, "gangsta" usually is.
Then again, I'm not entirely sure if he's "all there" as of late.

Actually who cares what this guy says! I think "half a buck" is a guy...maybe someone who works at a 7-11. I certainly don't know who he/she/it/or what ever is politically correct is!

I'm by no means old, and I was wondering where 50 was going with that... After reading the article, I'm still not sure whether 50 was joking or not when he said he would have voted for Bush if his felonies hadn't prevented him from voting (what, didn't the Democrats help him get a provisional ballot?). Certainly provides a contrast to Kanye "Bush Hates Black People" West...

So, you just devalued him by half...

50 cent verbally slapped Kanye West for his "Bush hates black people" utterance. to "fiddy" it was an act of God, not a malevolence of a sitting president that caused damage to NO. then he remarked that running USA was quite a task & a pres cannot be expected to be everywhere & do everything. amazing common sense from completely unexpected source.
