Save The Planet- Clear Cut The Rainforest

We need to act urgently to save the planet from the ultimate destruction of global warming...

New source of global warming gas found: plants

LONDON (Reuters) - German scientists have discovered a new source of methane, a greenhouse gas that is second only to carbon dioxide in its impact on climate change.

The culprits are plants.

They produce about 10 to 30 percent of the annual methane found in the atmosphere, according to researchers at the Max-Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, Germany.

The scientists measured the amount of methane released by plants in controlled experiments.

There you have it. The obvious way to save the planet from global warming - if it's not too late. If we just clear cut the rain forest we might have a chance of beating this thing. I mean- What's more important a bunch of damn tress or the whole planet?

We should clear cut the rain forest and make pianos out the wood. That would save the planet AND create thousands of jobs. More jobs means more taxes so we could save the planet and balance the budget at the same time!

The environmentalist claim they want to save the planet but they don't.. If they did, they'd be against the rain forest... It's killing us.

Don't expect the environmentalists to take this information to heart. In a few months, it'll have been swept under the nearest rug.

Remember, Bush was way out in front on this issue. Why do you think he spends so much time on his vacations chopping down mesquite trees? Because he is trying to do something practical to save the planet, not just a publicity stunt.
