Just as the McCain/Palin desperation flop-sweat starts to really stink up the country, good news arrives in this afternoon's release of new polling results showing Barack Obama and Joe Biden are widening their lead over John "What Economic Problems?" McCain and Sarah "I can see Russia from my House!" Palin.

At the heart of the scandal was Keating's Lincoln Savings and Loan Association, which took advantage of deregulation in the 1980s to make risky investments with its depositors' money. McCain intervened on behalf of Charles Keating with federal regulators tasked with preventing banking fraud, and championed legislation to delay regulation of the savings and loan industry -- actions that allowed Keating to continue his fraud at an incredible cost to taxpayers.

you might wanna crank that ... (Below threshold)1. Posted by MacStansbury | February 21, 2006 12:31 AM | Score: 0 (0 votes cast)
you might wanna crank that number of recent comments to 30 or so, since there were about 100 comments today. that's just a personal preference. I love comments RSS, and there's the subscribe to comment thread, but that's just another thing I'd have to click. I likes the simplicity of the RSS feed.
also, is there a way you could change it so that is has the post name then the commenter?

Let me dork around with it. I just changed it from RDF to RSS which should be "prettier"
Maybe I'll make it 50 for the lastn= value...

I like this and the "subscribe" option. I like being able to just sort through and look for comments to posts I have read, but also I like to have dedicated feeds (via e-mail subscription) sometimes, so I say keep them both!

"I can do anything I want, I'm master of the universe!"
Care-ful big guy! You might think about editing that one.
Will/Can the background color in the new feed still have this easy-to-read one for these ol' eyes.

So I've upped the number to 50, put the post title first, and changed the sort order so that new comments are at the top.
You should now be able to sort the feed alphabetically (by Wizbang post) in a newsreader. If you can't you need a new newsreader..

Rovin. Since RSS, Atom, and RDF feeds generally don't specify formatting I'd guess that the answer to your question is yes. It's being burned through Feedburner (as are the rest of the feeds), after that the display is up to whatever you use to read it...

Noooo~!
I like the feed just as it is. I would rather use the feed with the comments. It makes it easier to view the piece then the comments. Having a feed for just the comments is nice for some, but after the first 30 comments, my attention span is kinda spent.
I also noticed that for Wizbang Pop, the full feed does not give comments at all. But thats okay. I like the pictures... :)

I agree with Kevin. I like the current "Post with comments" feed just as it is. Even if it went away, I wouldn't subscribe to the "all comments" feed, I'd just switch to the full post feed.
But I'd rather get the current feed just as it is.
