Good riddance.
(CNN) -- Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic was found dead on his prison cell bed in a U.N. detention center in The Hague, Netherlands, where he was being tried before a U.N. war crimes tribunal. He was 64.
An official in the chief prosecutor's office said Milosevic's body was found at about 10 a.m. Saturday and he probably had been dead for several hours.A Dutch medical team will conduct an autopsy Sunday, with a senior pathologist from the Serbian capital of Belgrade attending, a tribunal official told CNN.
Milosevic's death came just a few months shy of the expected completion of his marathon trial, which has lasted more than four years.
Ed Morrissey of Captain's Quarters sums it up:
In the end, he beat the Hague and the UN in the limited arena left to him. He stalled the trial long enough to die before its completion and made the Hague look like incompetents and fools. Like all sociopaths, he wanted to control as much as possible right to the very end -- and unfortunately, he succeeded.

Now these "International" judicial types will be looking for new employment.....
Anyone out there want to give me odds that the rhetoric about moving Saddam's trial out of Iraq starts up in a feverish pitch...I give it about three weeks before we hear screaming from all kinds of dark corners about "justice" and "fair trials" and "world courts".

Slobodan Milosevic may have escaped justice here on Earth, but he can't escape whatever Justice GOD has in store for him!

Hmmm.
Someone predicted that Slobo would die before his trial was over. I think they weren't actually being serious but it did turn out that way.

I demand the Human Rights Watch International investigate The Hague immediately - let them try to explain how Milosevic got those mysterious drugs.
Clearly there has been unusual cruelty to a prisoner.
