In a new audio tape, Osama Bin Laden says America has it all wrong, that Zacarias Moussaoui had nothing to do with 9/11:
DUBAI (Reuters) - Osama bin Laden said Zacarias Moussaoui, the only person convicted in a U.S. court for the September 11 attacks, had nothing to do with the operations, according to a Web site audiotape released on Tuesday.
Bin Laden said he had personally assigned tasks to the 19 hijackers who staged the attacks on U.S. cities which killed about 3,000 people."The truth is that he has no connection whatsoever with the events of September 11. I am certain of what I say because I was responsible for entrusting the 19 brothers ... with the raids," said the speaker who sounded like the leader of Al Qaeda.
The authenticity of the tape could not be verified. It was posted on a Web site often used by Al Qaeda.
Moussaoui was sentenced on May 4 to life in prison with no chance of release, ending 4-1/2 years of legal wrangling over his fate.
The 37-year-old French citizen of Moroccan descent pleaded guilty last year to conspiracy in connection with the attacks, in which hijacked airliners were flown into buildings in New York City and Washington D.C.
Some U.S. officials initially said they believed Moussaoui was to have taken part in the September 11 attacks as a 20th hijacker. Others later said he was supposed to have been part of a second wave of attacks that were not carried out.
Andy McCarthy at The Corner offers this:
Anyone want to bet that the MSM won't run a round of stories suggesting that "this new revelation casts new doubt on the recent conviction of the only defendant prosecuted by the Bush Justice Department in connection with the suicide hijacking attacks ..."?
Didn't think so.

If Mr. Bin Ladin wants to testify as to Mr. Moussaui's innocence, he'll have to appear in person in the appropriate Federal appeals court and give sworn testimony. Since Mr. Bin Ladin is a leader whose concern for his employees is so great, I'm sure he'll appear for such testimony as soon as possible.

That's a good point LK. Drama will ensue when the bailiff attempts to swear him in.

But wait, I thought bin Laden didn't have anything to do with the 9/11 attacks.. But later he retracts that position (ego) creating a cloud of speculation and doubt (at least among the tinfoil hats) about his actual involvement. Now he says Zac wasn't involved, thus solidifying the case that he was, without question, the leader of the 9/11 attacks.
Oops...better not let this little tidbit be admissable in court should he ever be brought to trial.

Only the blind, deaf and stupid would believe that Osama had nothing to do with 9-11. There are video's that are definetly Osama bragging about the attack. They were taken before he found out the we now had a 'man' in the White House and that 'man' would make every attempt to kill the crazy islamic bast***. The best the U.S. has to offer are still trying to find the little weasel hiding in the rocks and caves. Tough job. but if and when he sticks his head up his nose will disappear. There are real Rangers, Seals and Special Forces on the hunt. Next they'll be hunting the scum Jessi that slandered them. Is he good enough to hide for years? I doubt it, bet they've already mapped his every move this week, just waiting for the right 'accident' scene.

Well, there you go! Proof positive that Moussaoui was as innocent as a newborn babe, but so bored with his life as it was that he lied his way into a life sentence! Think of all the fun he will have playing "hide the salami" and "toss my salad" with all his nice new playmates.
When Bin Laden says it, you better believe it. Not because it's true, but because he'll fly a toy airplaine into your mailbox if you don't. Take that, ya infidel!

I don't think he'll be playing hide the salami, unless it's with Mrs. Palm and her five daughters - he's gonna be in solitary for the rest of his life.
Hell, they could probably charge for webcam shots of his cell. 25 cents for 5 minutes, all proceeds to go to scholarship funds for firefighter/police orphans.

What, no boom-boom? Darn.
Or even better - we could torture him by forcing him to watch 24/7 reruns of Martha Stewart's cooking show. Then, we could record his shrieking madness on a VHS videotape and give it to Al Jazeera with a warning that this fate will be shared by all who dare to attack the United States!
Just think - the Dems would be all incensed about the torture, Bin Laden would commit suicide in abject fear, we could all blame Bush, and the entire world would be at peace (except for the French, who would declare war on Algeria).
Ah, Nirvanah...
