Whatever.
Al Gore is taking a coherent message such as a needed environmental concern and applying it in a Michael Moore manner, which is utterly, utterly incoherent.
He's also attempting to gauge the extreme right with a metric measuring tape. Tsk, tsk tsk. Typical.

The American people were given a choice between "a right wing extremist", if only it wee true!, and a communist. They chose the "right wing extremist" twice. Maybe Al Gore needs a hearing aid and eye glasses. Perhaps Al can't see that when given a choice between a "right wing extremist" and a communist the American people will always vote for the "right wing extremist". But you need a simple mark one brain to understand that and Al apparently fried his out with all that overheated rhetoric of his.

Not only is Pres Bush NOT a right wing extremist, he is not even a conservative. Pres Bush is a moderate who does make conservative-type decisions at times - tax cuts for example. He is certainly a moderate when it comes to environmental issues - if he was a true conservative he would have cut an executive order to drill in ANWR.

Ol' Al is NOT insane. He is a calculating politician playing to a certain political base. I can almost hear RR saying "now there you go again, AL. His swaggering style is almost a parody of Ronald Reagan, albeit a 180 degree turn from Reagan. He also has it a little backwards [typical for AG]: you are supposed to be a movie star first, then run for President. But he seems unable to pull off his attempts at stage magic on a grand enough scale to even get an effective majority for support.

Gore is throwing red meat to the moonbats. The wilder and crazier he gets, the more likely he will be attempting a run.
Al got in on the Google IPO at the insider price. He's made a killing - he's not as rich as Teresa Heinz, but he doesn't have to ask Tipper for lunch money, either.
He could very easily fund a major portion of a primary campaign if he chose to. By sounding like a frothing-at-the-mouth leftist, he would also attract the likes of Soros and the Deaniacs.

Typical Leftist-speak. The idea is to accuse one's opponent of the very thing that one is guilty of, thereby supposedly achieving some kind of moral parity. Leftist's do it all the time. The hard Left has seized control of the Democratic Party, now they want everyone to believe that the same is true of the other side. I think people are smarter than that.

"Leftard"--LOVE your command of the English language, there.
Folks, Bush *is* radically right-wing when it comes to foreign policy and his claims to "unitary executive" power. He is moderate-to-liberal when discussing spending and immigration. Gore is an extremist in terms of the environment, this is not news to anyone.
Regardless of Gore's position, the fact that Bush is moderate-to-liberal on a couple of topics does not negate that his administration's "unitary executive" and foreign policy positions are--whether the right cares to admit this or not--radically right-wing.
