I did not see Hardball tonight, but Newsbusters has a partial transcript of Norah O'Donnell's interview with Cindy Sheehan and she did not give her the free pass that reporters usually do. Here are a few of the exchanges.
Sheehan made her comments during a Hardball appearance, during which guest host Norah O'Donnell, sitting in for Chris Matthews, gave her a surprisingly rough ride. At one point, O'Donnell asked: "Why go stand by side by Hugo Chavez in Venezuela? Why do that? Would you rather live under him than George Bush?Sheehan: "Yes. Hugo Chavez is not a dictator like you introduced him. He's been democratically elected eight times. He is not anti-American, he has helped the poor people of America. He has sent aid to New Orleans, he has sold heating oil to disadvantaged people in America at low cost, and the people of his country love him."
The exchange over Chavez capped a rugged line of questioning to which O'Donnell subjected Sheehan. Other excerpts:
O'Donnell: "Americans may hate the war but they don't necessarily hate the president. How do you expect to get change by going around the world and trashing the President of the United States?"
Sheehan: "I don't hate the president either, and I don't trash the president. I trash the president's foreign policy."
O'Donnell: "But you called him the biggest terrorist in the world, so you are trashing the president."
Sheehan: "Well he says a terrorist is somebody that kills innocent men, women and children."
O'Donnell: "You have just begun a two-month hunger strike. Isn't this really just more of a publicity stunt?"

I see Michele has a page up listing the airfare for Sheehan to go shack up with her friend Hugo. I wonder if Hugo will also accept Sheehan's young traitor that is sticking to her like sh** to a**wipe. Na, he's a known traitor to his country so Hugo would just have to waste a bullet shooting him.

I never watch Hardball anymore due to the insipid Matthews, but I'll have to give it a look when old Norah is on there.
I always liked her. Kind of cute, too.

Hardball or not, do any actually listen to what she says and think her words are intelligent? Cindy Sheehan seems hollow to me and acts just like another flappy head for the puppetiering politic in our country. The loss of her son is sad, but like most desperate leftists, she can only criticize without offering any solutions (because she doesn't have any) ... except running away to a fascist-led country where she'd probably end up in a brothel in Chavez's white-slave, sex trafficking business. Next, she'll be front row at North Korea's Taepodong-2 light show, while hand feeding KJI gourmet pizza.

I continue to ask my self, why have the news agencies completely quit mentioning any thing about Cindy Sheehan? Google has at least five news breaks per day on her world wide travels, speaches aginst the war etc.
It seems the the USA Media News is being controled from some where? I am very much a supporter of Cindy's objections to the Iraq war. It is a divider of our country, and slowly bankrupting our gov.
It seems if you do not reflect a positive opinion of the White House and the Congress you are ignored--is that not what they are doing to Cindy Sheehan?

The media keeps covering Sheehan because in doing so, they advance their left-wing anti-American agenda.
We keep wtaching because she's like a train-wreck. You just HAVE to look. There's a shrine for Cindy at "Cindy Sheehan Watch". Check it out folks.
