Republican strategists are already looking for ways to capitalize on the potential suffering of everyday Americans if Gustav hits New Orleans hard. From Fox News (of course): Not one word of concern over the safety of the dear folks in...

Well, once again, the dawn of a new day has shown the extent to which CNN (and other media outlet) puppet newscasters are being manipulated by the McCain media staff. It turns out the "hot news tip" was just more Republican bullshit lies... Updated: More manipulation is coming tonight,

I'm resisting drawing acerbic comparisons between the Democratic nominee and his senile, doddering, war-mongering, mud-slinging, swiftboating, maverick-turned-sidekick "can't remember how many houses I own" opponent...

No surprise here - the GOP convention Committee has decided to lie (by omission) to the American people in order to help their candidate get elected. While the GOP fully intends to drill in Alaskan National Wildlife Reserve (ANWR) if McSame is elected, they've decided that, for now, they aren't going to tell the American people about those plans.

Sooner or later some Hizbullah target, a child, or a building or something, will turn out to be a 'Lusitania'.

I hesitate to post this but wth the warning or proviso that this is from a radical British left-wing journalist who lives in Nazerth, but he, Jonathan Cook believes there may be Hezbollah military objectives for targeting around Nazerth...Of course this is small consolation for the family of the child; more innocent blood being spilled in a war set off by 2 soldiers being kidnapped is taking a helluva alot of innocent civilian blood on both sides.
