"They're trying to fool you. They're trying to scare you and they're not telling the truth," a fired-up Obama declared while campaigning in South Dakota. "But it's not going to work. Both Bush and McCain represent the failed foreign policy and fear mongering of the past," Obama said. "I believe the American people are ready to reject this approach and to choose the future."

One point rings especially true and that is the fact that the true lefties and their cohorts in the media have never offered up any long-term strategic thinking.
To this day, almost five years after 9-11 I still have no idea what the Democrats would have done differently. Zip, zero, nada plans or input. Just criticism and promises of the “big plan unveiling” once they are returned to power.
But I think that big plan is nothing more than sitting on a hilltop rubbing crystals to send positive vibes, like a moonbat in flight to the Middle East.
But unbeknownst to the lefties, those turbans and burkas are actually woven with metal flake that deflects powerful rounds of kumbya mind rays.
Plan “B”……RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Rove's comments about the American Electorate were also right on the money:
Rove said it is "wrong to underestimate the intelligence of the American voter, but easy to overestimate their interest. Much tugs at their attention."
As I said here, this is, "Not only good advice for graduate students of political management (or even journalists), but for bloggers too."

D'oh! We've been caught again

Ah yes, once again blame the messangers. You duped dopes on the right would buy a used car with no engine and a rusted body from Herr Rove of the Propaganda Ministry. That's right the failed policies of this inept and corrupt administration are....let me guess....oh yes the fault of the evil media. I'm sure you're a proud dope...errr....dupe, Jumpinjoe.

"Herr Rove of the Propaganda Ministry"!
Wow, a Nazi reference about the Republicans! How original.
Who says the Left is devoid of new ideas?
Keep it up, though. I'm sure it'll be a winning strategy one of these times.

Now this is funny coming from someone whose political party told us for eight straight years that Iraq had WMD and was a threat from that WMD.
Then when President Bush says the same thing, you have to pretend your leaders never said such things so you can call Bush a lair.
That’s not just being a dupe; it’s plain right borderline retarded.
Good luck selling that load of crap here.

Hey, as long as you keep moving the goalposts so that chemical weapons are no longer WMD, I'm sure you'll be fine. Though I'm not sure that the Kurds on the other end of the mustard gas would agree.
