Paul Hackett Calls Dan Senor "Unterfuhrer"

It's unbelievable. Hot Air has the video. It's shocking enough to actually hear Paul Hackett call Dan "Herr Senor." But he didn't stop at that - he followed it up by calling Dan a "little unterfuhrer."

Hackett is settling into the far left, nutroot wing of the Democratic Party very well.

In September 2004, the White House employed Senor to coach and ghostwrite the speeches of Iraq's interim prime minister Iyad Allawi during his visit to the US, in an effort to enhance the Bush reelection campaign. At the same time, Senor appeared on cable news programs asserting that Allawi's positive remarks (vetted by him) supported the Bush Administration's rosy view of the Iraqi occupation.

And Lee can jump me for slamming Hackett as soon as he serves more than 21 Yrs., 6 Mos. and 11 days in the U.S. Military, until then shut up about something you know nothing about. For those unfamiliar with the concept, Wikipedia relies on reader contributions and editing for its material. If you are willing to register with a valid email address, you can edit. It wasn't always so "restrictive."

In many cases, drooling moonbat morons have edited entries with their extreme left anti-American take on things. This has lead to some further "rules" at Wikipedia, but they can only be applied when complaints arrive. In the meantime, many idiots can quote them as "authoritative."

"How do we get left wing lunatics like Lee to hate the terrorists just 10% as much as they hate Republicans?"

Simple, Infidel. Just give them the White House, Congress and SCOTUS. That's all this has ever been about. Oh, sure, Lee will deny it, squawk something about "crushing of dissent" or "Faux News" or "conservofascist sockpuppets," but it's true. The left has decided - like a spoiled child - that until it gets back power, it will do everything it can to delay, obstruct, defeat and block this adminstration as much as possible. If it means a few Americans have to die in a terror attack. . .well, you can't make omelets without breaking a few eggs, can you?

Go ahead, Infidel - ask Lee where all this outrage was when the Syphilitic Hillbilly lied. About mass graves. About the troops being home for Christmas. About the WMD hidden in a Sudanese aspirin factory. Where was his outrage when that miserable piece of sewage invaded Haiti unilaterally? Or attacked Bosnia (which, of course, posed no imminent threat to us)?

Hell, he was probably chortling over those stoopid religious freaks at Waco who deserved to get firebombed. Or cheered as Janet Reno's thugs tore a little boy out of his relatives' home at gunpoint. That was simply democracy in action. But the War on Terror? All a fake. A Halliburton plot. There are no terrorists. Just happy Muslims we haven't met yet. And anyway, it's all the fault of (shhhhhh!!) the Joooooooooos, dont'cha know.

And of course, Lee, I notice the whole point of this post blew right by you - should anyone, left or right, running for public office, have recourse to Nazi smears? Is that now an accepted part of public discourse? Or do you condemn it in any way at all?

As for military service, it may or may not mean something. There are examples both good and bad. For the Democrats on this thread, Duke Cunningham was a war hero yet you love to use him for the culture of corruption theme against Republicans. 90% of Americans never served in the military. The constitution gives civilians control of the military. Everone should stop using military service as a reason to refrain from criticizing someone.

Ghostwriters are used all the time, and I don't have a problem with that - it is the conservofascist puppeteer approach to swaying public opinion that I object to -- "Senor appeared on cable news programs asserting that Allawi's positive remarks (vetted by him) supported the Bush Administration's rosy view of the Iraqi occupation."

Do you prefer the Washington Post?

But administration officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the prime minister was coached and aided by the U.S. government, its allies and friends of the administration. Among them was Dan Senor, former spokesman for the CPA who has more recently represented the Bush campaign in media appearances. Senor, who has denied writing the speech, sent Allawi recommended phrases. He also helped Allawi rehearse in New York last week, officials said. Senor declined to comment.

The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and British Foreign Service officials also helped Allawi with the text and delivery of his remarks, said administration officials who were involved. The State Department and officials elsewhere in the government took the lead in booking Allawi's interviews. Administration officials said that the Iraqi Embassy in Washington consists of just a few officials and has only a dial-up Internet connection, so was incapable of preparing for the high-profile tour.

Oh, I forgot -- the Washington Post is run by terrorists, right?

Since Allawi gave his speech in English I assume he speaks English. It's obviously not his first language and I would expect that he'd want someone who was fluent to write the speech and I would expect that he'd be happy to get "coaching" on the speech that he was going to deliver.

That in no way equates to a charge that he'd give a speech with which he did not agree.

If Kerry had done nothing else, I'd have viewed his characterization of Allawi as a "puppet" as absolute proof that Kerry did not have the capacity for any sort of Statesmanship. The man was trying to get us to vote for him for President and he called a foreign leader and ally of the United States with whom he'd be expected to deal, a puppet. Did he expect to have Allawi replaced if he won? Did he really think that he *could*?

Neither Kerry, nor Lee (shocking as it is), seem to have the barest concept of *promoting* public cofidence or why anyone would want to do that.

Just one more data point proving that Democrats can not be trusted with foreign policy.

Kerry? How did Kerry get into this thread?

"*promoting* public cofidence"

Let's see - they were promoting public confidence in the situation in Iraq back in 2004 - which turned out to be just another set of lies designed to win an election.

How about "solultions" - how about hitting a target for once - border security, social security, Iraq - you name it republican'ts -- just hit a target or two for a change and see what that does for "public confidence" instead of having to fabricate confidence with lies and deception.

"Why don't you fix Social Security?"

Well, a plan was offered up. Dems decided that rather than, you know, propose solutions to problems they had with it --- they decided to just trash it instead, going with the belief that there is NO Social Security problem outside of us needing to tax people twice as much.

"Why don't you fix the border?"

You seem to forget we deal with a party that calls an English-only law "racist". Yeah, good luck getting anything done on the border.

"Why don't you fix Iraq?"

Well, since the press finds it better to report on all of the good Hezbollah is doing in Lebanon and ignoring that the US MILITARY is doing MORE GOOD in Iraq --- that you are unaware of the improvements is hardly startling.

You guys are real good at puppet shows - but fail at providing solutions - you just keep moving the targets everytime you miss..

Like it or not, Robert, unless something like that is done --- that is PRECISELY what will happen. The Democrats are so utterly petrified of people realizing that they don't need the gov't to live a good life that they will fight, tooth and nail, any effort to prove that.

Your President who proposed it already admitted it would do nothing about the shortfall problems.

Feel free to provide a link.

BTW, pay no attention to the Dems plan to raise the ceiling on income that can be taxed to make-up for the shortfall.

Like it or not, THAT is not a solution at all. The problem is that not enough people work to support the retirees. Unless you tax an insane percentage of people's incomes, you're going to have insane shortfalls when there are more retirees than active workers.

Even common sense solutions like raising the age when you can receive it get shot down.

But, of course, the Dem answer is --- as always --- "well, let's just raise the taxes". Even though the solution here is singularly useless.

No need to raise the rate on taxes for Social Security. You just raise the ceiling on how much can be taxed (I think it's $90K/ annual currently).
The guy making $120K shouldn't be put off, since he's making enough to live well.

You are right that SOME people don't need the government to take care of them.
While we are at it, Bush's tax plan is a good deal for SOME Americans.

The deal is we live in a country. A community.
Here in a civilized nation like the US, we take care of those less fortunate than ourselves.

Taxes: It's a small price to pay in a civilized country that cares for its people.
