Earlier Kim reminded readers that there are only hours left in the 15 day Rightroots challenge to get 100 contributions for each of the 21 Rightroots candidates. RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman has just added a very attractive incentive to reach that goal. If Rightroots meets its September goal to support each of its 21 candidates by midnight tonight, Chairman Mehlman will send an e-mail to the RNC's entire list of millions of activists asking them to support the Rightroots candidates. He says Rightroots is a great example of how blogger-based activism will help us keep the majority in the House and Senate and that the RNC is proud to support the effort.
If you have not yet, please consider contributing to those candidates that have not yet hit the 100 mark, even if all you can contribute is a small amount. The Rightroots main page lists the number of contributions each candidate has received during the 15 day challenge, along with the total dollar amounts for each candidate. Please visit now and help if you can.
Update: Thanks for helping Rightroots reach its goal!

Lorie,
Isn't it true that the RNC has like $60 million dollars compared to the DNC's $12 million?
Any guesses why? or Why they need that much to win?

Sounds like the RNC controls spending better, muirgeo.
But I believe they're looking here for donations to individual campaigns........

After giving my support to the Rightroots campaign, I hope you'll indulge me in making the following promo:
To all my Conservative Friends:
Randy Graf needs your support. He is running for Congress in Arizona's 8th district. He defeated several moderates in the Arizona primary and now stands against his liberal democratic opponent.
This campaign is one of the most important races in the country. As an elected State Representative, Randy was a leader in the fight to secure our borders long before this campaign began. If you are concerned about protecting our country against terrorists and illegal immigration, please do what you can to help. This can include:
1. Signing up for emails and learning about Randy at VoteGraf.com
2. Give his office a call at 520-887-2984 and offer your support
3. Send him a donation of $10 - $2,100 to:
Graf for Congress
1800 E. Ft. Lowell Rd.

Tucson, AZ. 85719
Thank You for your support.

To erase the Mediacrat propaganda advantage, silly.

If I knew more about the individual candidates, I might be inclined to donate. But when I see a McCain endorsement of it, you can count me out. We'd be better off without any more McCain types in Congress.

I can promise you that Randy Graf is not a McCain-ite (I have to live in AZ under McCain (gah!)). Randy is a true conservative deserving of any conservative's support.

John Hawkins has been doing profiles of the candidates daily for the past couple of weeks and there have been quite a few interviews with them posted. These candidates are conservative and most have probably never met McCain, but I am sure they welcome his endorsement, even if they don't agree with many of his positions. Anyone who reads me regularly knows my opinion of McCain and it is not good, but the Rightroots candidates represent our best shot at maintaining GOP control of the House and Senate. It is that simple. Even with all of McCain's faults, he is working to maintain that majority and I thank him for that.
