Ayman al-Zawahri Joins The Democratic Party

Al-Qaida No. 2 Calls Bush Failure, Liar
Al-Qaida No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri condemned President Bush in a video statement released Friday, calling him a failure and a liar. "Why don't you tell them how many million citizens of America and its allies you intend to kill in search of the imaginary victory and in breathless pursuit of the mirage towards which you are driving your people's sons in order increase your profits?" al-Zawahri said in a portion of the video released by the Virginia-based IntelCenter. ...

An intelligence official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said U.S. experts view the tape as a typcial propaganda message, whose main thrust is a call for more people to join the jihad.

He's already got the talking points down cold.

As a not so long ago retired Army NCO I think the draft is a terrible idea right now.

The one huge advantage we have in our military is that being a volunteer means you wanted to be there. And wanting to be there means you are willing to conform to military life, work as a cohesive team and work hard to progress within the ranks.

The military does not desire taking on a bunch of panty waste burnouts that do not want to be there. As the adage goes, "a unit is only as strong as it's weakest link".

I was not watching, but listening to TV when the voice portion of the Zawahri tape was played. I thought it was Howard Dean with an accent. Then I thought it was Kennedy in his cups, or Reid with a disguised voice. Turns out it was al-Qaeda's #2 guy. Hard to tell the difference thsee days. OBL once said the main fight against us would be in Iraq, but Zawahri and the democrats all agree Bush lied, and 4000 al-Qaeda died.
