Remember Abdul Rahman?

Abdul Rahman is the Afghani whom the Islamofascists wanted to put on trial and kill for converting from Islam to Christianity. You were probably outraged and scared to death for his safety but were relieved when he received asylum from Italy. The last we heard, Mr. Rahman had been delivered to Italy and disappeared. We all thought he was safe.

He isn't.

The Islamofascists want Mr. Rahman back to finish what they started, and they're using the traditional jihadi method to get him. They kidnapped an Italian journalist and are demanding Rahman in exchange for the journalist's life:

The kidnappers of an Italian journalist in Afghanistan have offered to free him in exchange for a Christian convert who fled the country, an aid agency says.

Photojournalist Gabriele Torsello was seized last week while travelling on a bus in southern Afghanistan.

The kidnappers will free Mr Torsello, a Muslim convert, if Abdul Rahman returns from Italy where he was granted asylum earlier this year, the aid agency says.

Mr Rahman had escaped a possible death sentence for becoming a Christian.

And note that even when people convert to Islam, they're still not free from the Islamofascist death cults. Keep this in mind the next time Adam Gadahn issues another of his videos demanding Americans convert to Islam or else. Evil cannot be appeased.

Michelle Malkin has more.

You couldn't have put it better, "evil cannot be appeased."

Unfortunately liberals think we conservatives are the evils ones.

I wouldn't go so far as to say evil, comeonsense. The Republican party cannot be trusted to look after the best interests of the American people. That doesn't mean individual Republicans are evil. Democrats know that...

Lee, the Democrats don't CARE what the best interests of the American people are. They push their beliefs on everyone whether it takes away our rights or not. "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." is how Hilary Clinton put it. And that's bullshit.

Jamie,

In all fairness, I think a lot of "democrats" do think that they are doing what is best for all Americans. They just don't realize that their preferred form of government, secular socialism, is inherently evil as it is a direct affront to human nature and therefore deemed to fail just like in the Soviet Union, N. Korea, China, and Cuba. Yes, pretty much everything the "democrats" do has unintended consequences that ultimately do so much, much more harm than the good they had intended, but still in their minds (and the fabricated reality inwhich they live) they are doing only good things because they care.

for the dem/libs/socialist/leftist.....they are Godless(one's behind the ideology, not necessarily all the ignorant voters they have) and are trying to create a false messiah via a large govt. that takes rights away on behalf of the "common good", etc. It is their religion, and they want to create their own Heaven/Utopia on earth via govt. power. an end unto themselves.

In all fairness, I think a lot of "democrats" do think that they are doing what is best for all Americans.

Moreover, they believe that they know better 'what is best' and will gladly decide for us what is best even if we disagree. Take their new slogan, "for the common good" - literally right out of the Communist Manifesto.

Zelsdorf Ragshaft III:

Lee, let us run down the list of Democratic achievements. FDR gave eastern Europe to the Soviets, enslaving them for nearly 50 years. Truman, by not defeating North Korea and supporting the Republic of China in their fight against Communism, cost millions of lives and cost America Trillions of dollars. Kennedy left Castro in charge in Cuba. That surely is in the best interest of America. Johnson failed to suppport a US ally, South Viet Nam, in its fight against a communist take over. He failed because they fought that war in the south, not the North. We never capured Hanoi. Carter, gave away the Panama Canal, surely not in America's best interests, and failed to support the Shaw of Iran. Clinton failed at everything, except the seduction of an intern and formulating an effective foreign policy. I particularly like Clinton selling or giving, for campaign contributions, 5 Cray supercomputers. The kind necessary to design miniture thermonuclear warheads for MIRVed ICBMs which China had none of before Clintons gift. That is just a quick list, Lee, of why your side is the wrong side, when it comes to what is best for America. The question arises, which side are you really on?

Yeah, I'm sure glad we did such a good job installing a free, stable and democratic government in Afganistan.

Remember Mahar Arar? He's the Canadian citizen that we arrested and sent to Syria to be tortured. After almost a year the Syrians, in their near infinite mercy, sent him back - mainly becuase he wasn't a terrorist after all. Well, even after all that, it turns out he's still on our no-fly list. Now that's the sort of American justice I'm proud of...
