Go check the recidivism rates for pedophiles. It's near 100%. There are two things you don't want to be in prison: a corrupt cop or a pedophile. Even rapists despise pedophiles and target them in prison. It's the lowest form of humanity, as far as I'm concerned.

Pedophiles don't "get better", and even chemical castration doesn't help. So the obvious answer is to put them away for all day or execute them in egregious cases. Like this one. We don't have to play "what if" games here. There are plenty of examples of Republican child sex offenders to choose from, many of whom received very light sentences.
